I don’t talk about this part very often…
When people picture our homestead, they usually imagine the slower moments—the garden growing, animals being cared for, laundry hanging outside in the breeze, and meals made from scratch.
And that is our life.
It’s the life we worked really hard to build.
But what most people don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes to make this lifestyle actually work.
Because as simple as this life can be… it isn’t always cheap.
There are feed bills, supplies, unexpected expenses, and the everyday costs that don’t just disappear because you choose a slower way of living.
For a long time, I thought the only way to make it all fit was to keep cutting back.
Spend less. Stretch everything. Go without when we had to.
And while there’s value in living that way… it can also feel heavy when you’re constantly trying to make ends meet.
I remember wondering how I could contribute more financially without stepping away from this life.
I didn’t want to leave my kids.
I didn’t want to give up being home.
And I definitely didn’t want to trade this slower, intentional lifestyle for something that pulled me away from it.
I just wanted a way to support it.
And eventually, I realized something I hadn’t considered before—
Not everything that supports a homestead has to happen outside.
Some of it can happen quietly…
from right here at home.
From my phone.
The Reality Behind Our Homestead
From the outside, homesteading can look like a dream.
Fresh food, slower days, a more intentional way of living…
and in many ways, it truly is.
But there’s a side of this lifestyle that doesn’t get talked about nearly as much.
Because while we’ve chosen to live simply… that doesn’t mean everything is simple—or free.
There are feed bills that come around faster than expected.
Supplies that need replacing.
Projects that cost more than planned.
And the everyday expenses that don’t just disappear because you’ve stepped away from a more traditional lifestyle.
It adds up—quickly.
For a long time, I believed the only way to make it work was to keep cutting back.
Be more frugal.
Make do with less.
Stretch everything as far as it could go.
And while that mindset teaches you a lot… it can also start to feel like you’re constantly trying to catch up instead of actually getting ahead.
I remember feeling that tension—
wanting this life so badly, but also feeling the weight of what it took to sustain it.
Because the truth is…
you can love this lifestyle deeply and still feel the pressure of making it all work financially.
And that’s the part I don’t think enough people talk about.
It’s not about giving up the lifestyle.
It’s about finding a way to support it—without losing the very reason you chose it in the first place.
Finding a Way to Contribute Without Leaving Home
There came a point where I knew something had to shift.
Not in the sense that I wanted to walk away from this life—
but in the sense that I needed to find a better way to support it.
I didn’t want to trade time at home for a job outside of it.
I didn’t want to miss the everyday moments that make this lifestyle so meaningful.
And I didn’t want to build something that pulled me further away from the very reason we chose this life in the first place.
I just needed a way to contribute… from here.
From home.
In the middle of everything else.
And for a while, I felt stuck.
Because most of what you see online makes it sound either too complicated, too time-consuming, or honestly… too good to be true.
I wasn’t looking for something flashy.
I wasn’t looking for overnight success.
I just wanted something real.
Something steady.
Something that could grow over time and actually make a difference.
It wasn’t until I started paying attention to what I was already doing—
sharing pieces of our life, connecting with others, talking about what was working for us—that I realized there might be something more there.
I didn’t need to start from scratch.
I just needed direction.
A way to take what I was already doing and turn it into something that could actually support our homestead.
And that’s when things started to shift.
Turning What I Was Already Doing Into Income
The more I paid attention to it, the more it started to make sense.
I was already sharing pieces of our life—
the everyday routines, what was working for us, the things I was learning along the way.
I was already connecting with other women who wanted something similar.
Already having conversations.
Already showing up.
But I wasn’t doing it with any kind of intention.
There was no structure behind it.
No strategy.
No real understanding of how it could turn into something more.
It was just… posting and hoping it reached the right people.
And that’s where I realized the gap wasn’t effort—
it was direction.
Once I started learning how to actually use what I was already doing, everything began to shift.
Not overnight, and not in some unrealistic way…
but in a steady, real kind of growth.
I learned how to:
- create content that actually connects
- understand what people are looking for
- share in a way that builds trust instead of just filling space
And most importantly—
how to turn that into income in a way that still felt aligned with my life.
It didn’t require me to change who I was or what I shared.
It just gave me a way to be more intentional with it.
To take something I was already doing…
and allow it to start supporting our homestead in a meaningful way.
And for the first time, it felt like I wasn’t just trying to keep up—
I was finally building something that could grow with us.

The Resource That Gave Me Direction
For a while, I tried to piece everything together on my own.
Watching videos here and there…
saving posts…
trying different things without really knowing if I was doing it right.
And honestly, it felt a lot like guessing.
Some days I would feel motivated, like maybe I was finally figuring it out…
and other days it felt like I was right back at the beginning.
What I needed wasn’t more random information.
I needed something that actually showed me:
- what to focus on
- what order to do things in
- and how to make it all make sense together
Something simple, but structured.
Something that didn’t overcomplicate things or make unrealistic promises.
That’s when I came across SWC 2.0.
And I’ll be honest—I was hesitant at first.
Not because I didn’t want it to work…
but because I had seen so many things online that looked promising and didn’t follow through.
I didn’t want to waste time.
I didn’t want to get my hopes up.
And I definitely didn’t want to invest in something that wouldn’t actually help.
So I watched for a while.
I paid attention to the people already inside—
what they were doing, what they were saying, and the results they were sharing.
And what stood out to me wasn’t just numbers…
It was the impact.
The way it was changing people’s lives.
Giving them options.
Helping them create something of their own.
And when I started seeing that consistency—real people, real progress, real proof—
that’s when something shifted for me.
I realized…
maybe this wasn’t just something that worked for other people.
Maybe this was something I could do too.
And once I stepped into it, everything started to make more sense.
It wasn’t just what it taught—
it was how it brought everything together.
Everything was laid out step-by-step.
No guessing. No trying to connect pieces from ten different places.
It helped me understand:
- how to be intentional with my content
- how to actually grow instead of just post
- and how to turn that growth into something that could support our life
Not in a way that felt pushy or out of alignment—
but in a way that felt natural to who I already was.
And I’ll be honest… it didn’t magically change everything overnight.
But it gave me something I didn’t have before:
clarity.
Clarity in what I was doing.
Clarity in where I was going.
And clarity in how this could actually become something real over time.
And that made all the difference.
If I Was Starting From Scratch With 30 Days to Make $10K
First, I’d be honest with myself: this would take real work, consistency, and daily action.
But I would not waste time guessing. I would follow this exact order:
Step 1: Pick one clear audience
I would choose one specific person to speak to.
For me, it would be:
moms who want to make money from home without leaving their kids.
Not everyone. Not random people. One audience.
Step 2: Choose one main offer
I would not promote 10 different things.
I would choose one offer that teaches a real skill, solves a real problem, and has enough value to confidently talk about every day.
For me, that would be SWC 2.0.
Step 3: Fix my profile before posting
Before creating content, I would make sure my page clearly says:
Who I help.
What I help them with.
Where they can go next.
Example bio:
Helping moms learn digital marketing + make money from home
Free course sneak peek ↓
Step 4: Create a simple freebie or entry point
I would give people a reason to click.
Something like:
Free content planner
Free sneak peek videos
Free beginner guide
This builds trust before asking anyone to invest.
Step 5: Make 5 content buckets
I would rotate content around:
- My story
- Honest truths about making money online
- Beginner tips
- Mistakes I made
- Why I chose SWC 2.0
Step 6: Post 3–5 times a day
For 30 days, I would post daily without overthinking.
I would focus on short, simple content with strong hooks like:
I wish I knew this before trying to make money online…
This is why most beginners stay stuck…
I was hesitant too, until I saw what was possible…
Step 7: Start conversations every day
I would not just post and wait.
Every day I would:
Reply to comments.
Message warm leads.
Ask questions.
Follow up with people who showed interest.
Step 8: Track what works
At the end of each day, I would write down:
Which posts got saves.
Which posts got comments.
Which posts got profile visits.
Which posts led to DMs.
Then I would recreate the winners.
Step 9: Talk about the sale clearly
I would not hide the offer.
I would say:
SWC 2.0 is going on sale, and if you’ve been thinking about learning digital marketing, this is the time to look into it.
Clear, honest, no pressure.
Step 10: Repeat until something catches
For 30 days, I would keep it simple:
Post.
Engage.
Start conversations.
Follow up.
Improve the content.
Repeat.
That is the exact order I would go in.
